... just a brief note to say that the Fonz has been spotted in the canteen. We did indeed go and check it out, and the rumour was true. There he was, resplendent in a checked shirt and a pretty bad tie, with two blondes in tow. He looked even shorter than he did on television, but to be fair he was sitting down.
I think.

Well there's your answer, Gypsum: The canteen increases it's prices during the Championships because of the increased chance of seeing celebrities. Well worth the price-hike to mingle with the likes of Fonzy.
